Getting Results?

Are you getting the results that you’re looking for with your training program?

Do you even have a training program?

Where do you even begin to get going on your own?

Here’s the thing, let me give you an analogy…

I hate financial planning. I know that it’s not rocket science, but it bores me to tears and my eyes start to glaze over when I have to even look at finances or talk about investments. I know the value of this because although I hate the planning of things, I’m like everyone that likes to have it done properly and profitably.

Let’s look at fitness….

I know you’re a smart person, but do you know enough about fitness to map out a plan that will get you results in a timely fashion?

If it were up to me, I might just dig a hole and plant my money in my back yard and call it a day, but that’s not going to get me a good return.

Are you going to do a similar thing and walk on a treadmill or jog around the block and hope for the best? Is this a good return for your fitness investment?

Nope, it isn’t.

I consult an expert to help me navigate the financial world so that I don’t have to hope for a money tree to grow in my back yard. And you should do the same.

The best investment in yourself is to consult with an expert, ( that would be me, so thank you for visiting my blog).

Here’s a few tips I can provide to help you along your fitness journey:

You can’t keep doing the same thing and expect your body to improve. This is INSANITY: the equivalent of doing the same thing and hoping for different results. Your body will improve in the beginning, but once your body adapts, it will stay the same until you challenge it further.

This is one reason many fall OFF the fitness band wagon. Results come at the start of a program, but soon a plateau is hit and nothing changes. People get discouraged and quit.

Seriously, how can you be expected to know how to change your program up daily in order to fool your body? Because that’s really what it comes down to: shake up your program every day so that your body needs to adapt to the ever changing stimuli.

Bottom line is that people tend to go through the motions of fitness, their program lacks variety and variation. While this is enough to MAINTAIN a certain level of fitness, you can never get to those ‘last 10 lbs’ or whatever your goal is.

So, stop doing the same thing! Change your program up, never do the same workout twice.

What are eating? You can never out train a bad diet. The saying that ‘you are what you eat’ that probably your mother told you is true (sadly, mothers are often right!).

You need to examine the QUALITY of food that you put in your mouth and then you may have to reduce QUANTITY. If you’re eating the proper foods though, you won’t feel hungry and you’ll be quite satisfied even with reduced amounts of food. There are tips and tricks that you can learn that over time will DRASTICALLY change your overall metabolism and the way you look at food.

Basically, if you want results that you’ve never had before, you need to do what you’ve never done. If you’re going through the motions, then don’t expect stellar results.
