Be warned, I’m going to bribe you here, so keep an eye out.
I hope you find the content on the blog helpful.
My goal is to meet your needs.
Make sure you let me know what I can do to help you with your fitness and fat loss challenges because when you do, other ladies benefit as well.
My goal is to reach and empower as many women in their 40’s as I can. There’s nothing better than feeling good in your own skin, and if I can help even one woman do this, my efforts are worthwhile.
Here’s where we can work together to empower more women just like us:
1. Tell your friends about me. Share your favorite blogs on Facebook, Twitter and (heaven forbid!) in person.
2. Send me a testimonial of how my blog has helped you with your fitness and fat loss journey along with a picture of you. Send to: shawnak.help@gmail.com.
Okay, so this part is more for me…but this next part is more for you:
3. After you’ve emailed me with your testimonial and picture (btw, I don’t need to use your last name), let’s get on a call and discuss your three most pressing and challenging issues so I can steer you in the right direction.
Easy enough?
I’d love to hear from you, better yet, I’m looking forward to talking to you on a private call. (Make sure you give me your phone number and a good time to call in your email as well.)
Talk soon!
I had a gastric bypass three years ago and went from 360 to 175 but now I’m back too 210 I feel like a total failure. I suffer from bipolar dsiorder and always used food for comfort .I just don’t know what to do can you please help me??
Cristina,
I’d love to help you but I may be out of my scope of practice. If you can get your bipolar disorder under control, I can definitely help you with the nutrition and exercise part. I’d be over claiming my abilities if I said I could help with all your issues. Please stay in touch and let me help with what I can.
Hi Shawna. The toughest thing for me right now is losing “baby weight”! I just turned 42 and I have a beautiful 11-month old. For the past few months, I have been really down that I can’t get back into the awesome shape I was in before I got pregnant. It has been easy to eat right, but making time to exercise being a single Mom and the 115 degree temperatures here in Arizona during the summer are making this even more difficult
My weight loss goal is 25-35 pounds.
Hey Shawna,
Because I don’t want to let the opportunity pass by for me to let people know how much your blogs, programs and support have helped me over the past year and a bit, I am commenting here today.
Anyone out there who is just getting into exercise, nutrition and the whole idea of “feeling good in your own skin” you are on your way if you stay the course with Shawna. She has tested, researched and lives this lifestyle and you can too!!! Set your mind to it and it will happen. I did and haven’t looked back since.
You know she is the real deal when you read her response to the comment by Cristina. There are a lot of trainers and fitness people who would say they could help her with all she is dealing with but Shawna is honest enough to say she isn’t one of those people.
Good luck to you Cristina!
Judy, Thanks for your positive comments. I really appreciate you!
Bonnie,
Have you had a chance to take a look at some of the workouts on my blog? You’ll see that they don’t take much time or equipment and you can likely get in a great workout while your little one is sleeping (congrats by the way!). I have other programs that you may want to look into (Female Fat Loss Over 40 and the 14 Day Fat Furnace as well as my virtual coaching), but I highly recommend using the blog to get you started. Read the articles on nutrition and lifestyle and slowly start to change your habits. You CAN do this! Just get it in your head and start to put yourself first (even for 30 min a day to start). Keep me posted!
