When my son was about 3 or 4 and he’d out grown his shoes, we set off to the store to get new ones. Turns out he’s a typical boy and couldn’t afford to spend more than 5 minutes shopping. He picked up the first pair he spotted, they happened to be pink and purple ones (not that I’m opposed to boys wearing these colors but they weren’t even his size…) and said they were fine and let’s go home.
Do you pick your shoes out by color? Or just pick the first ones you see, as my son did?
I wear my running shoes pretty much every day, almost all day. I don’t mind spending a bit of money on them to make sure that my feet are feeling good. As I’ve come to realize, it’s more that just my feet that feel good when I wear the proper fitted shoe.
I had opportunity to interview a shoe expert. Have a listen to Amanda, from New Balance Calgary as we discuss why you should get your running shoes fitted properly.
