It’s getting near the holidays and I know you need some support for a few home workouts. Here’s a great workout you can do in very little space with no equipment. You’ll have 4 exercises to do: Y squat, pushup, split stance squat (lunge left/right), and a renegade row (push up/pull up). You could substitute the renegade row with a DB deadlift if you had dumb bells. The great thing about the renegade row is that it works the core and triceps at the same time and feel free to add your dumb bells here if you have any. Finish the set with a high intensity stationary sprint, but you can always substitute your favorite indoor cardio move (like a mountain climber-I know it’s your favorite!).
Now it’s your turn…COMMENTS PLEASE!! I know you’re out there! What else do you need over the holidays to keep you moving?
I like this workout Shawna. Thanks for posting!
Shawna, Thanks for all these workouts. Really helps to have ideas when you’re not going to bootcamp. Now, we just need some warmer weather, so it’s not so hard to get out of bed!
Glad to help Mary Jane! I’ll see what I can do about the weather next…
This is great Shawna! Perfect for time AND space constraints! It’s hard to keep myself from being bored in my workouts when I am at home visiting my parents, but these workouts are awesome!
Love this one – will totally do it while at the in-laws over Christmas! :o)
Good for you Jolleen! Happy to hear that it will help over the holidays!
I just did this on my lunch hour at work in our meeting room that has been converted to a workout room – apparently all it takes is a cork floor and a treadmill for the conversion. Anyway, there is not much space or equipment in there so I decided to give this work out a try. I thought, “this looks easy, what will I do after 5 sets to actually make it a workout?”. Wowzers, was I wrong! I was sucking wind and I only did it 3 times! Thanks Shawna for kickin’ my butt, even in small spaces!
It’s surprising how little space and equipment you need to have a great workout if you put your mind to it. Thanks for sharing Mel!
Thanks for this workout! I have been thinking about how I can fit in a workout while camping!
Perfect! This is a great workout for anywhere, also check out my program as many of my clients find it helpful while traveling. Happy training!
