Hi! I’m Shawna Kaminski.
Thanks for visiting my site and wanting to get to know me. I think it’s really important to research the folks that you look to for advice. There are far too many unqualified people, pretending to be experts, trying to get you to buy their products, even if those products aren’t what you really need.
I can promise you that my main interest is to sell you on the idea that you need to get fit and enjoy better health. You can do this yourself with commitment and dedication.
On occasion, you’ll need a bit of support and that’s what I’m here for.
I am in my mid-forties and have always enjoyed a fit lifestyle. I was active as a kid; I swam competitively for 12 years, I competed in freestyle skiing and bodybuilding as well. I was a national level competitor in all three sports. I completed a degree in kinesiology and education and I taught school, mostly physical education, for over 20 years. In the past five years, I also ran my own business as a personal trainer and trained hundreds of clients personally and in a group setting in a private studio.
As my true passion became clearer to me, I quit teaching school, and now I concentrate on getting adults back into shape. I am now teaching boot camps to women. I really love to teach people how to work fitness into their daily lifestyle in order to improve their quality of life.
While I’ve worked with all ages from children, as young as five, to older adults, I feel most connected to middle aged women. I feel we’re living parallel lives in many ways, and I can empathize with many of your issues.
I can use this knowledge to help you!
I know what you’re struggling with because I’m in the trenches with you. I have the same issues as you and I know how you feel. Mother Nature has an odd sense of humor it seems. The aging process can be cruel unless we take steps to overcome a sluggish metabolism and thickening waist.
We can overcome and deal with the issues of pre-menopausal symptoms, and avoid weight gain. With the proper game plan, you can look and feel terrific in what can be the best time of our lives. Let me provide that game plan for you. I’m living proof that you don’t have to sag, get heavy, and look matronly as you age. You can look and feel years younger by making a few lifestyle changes.
